Bay View Wakes Up Early on Saturday!
If you are sleeping in this Saturday, you will be missing out on some fun at South Shore Park
in Milwaukee’s Bay View Neighborhood. There is something for everyone here on Milwaukee’s Lakefront.
A Farmer’s Market offers everything from farm fresh produce and flowers, crepes made to order, fresh hot coffee, spices, hot popping kettlecorn, and even some organic and gluten free products!
At 9:30 a.m. you can meet at the Pavillion for Yoga with Amy Friese from Fitness For EveryBODY. Last week it was so lovely having class right on the beach. The sand added an extra dimension, and the water added a calming effect, while being kissed by the sun! (A nominal fee of $l0 for yoga.)
Sometimes there is live music to sit and enjoy. If you are the more active type, bring your bike and ride along the path that goes all the way down along South Lake Drive to Grant Park. Or just take a stroll and enjoy the sights and sounds of a vibrant community: Bay View.
