Living in Enderis Park

Are you looking for a real connected neighborhood to call home? Well let me tell you about Enderis Park in Milwaukee. This neighborhood consists of families and homes that have been a fabric of our city for decades.  The neighborhood that sits on the edge of Wauwatosa and is named after Dorothy C. Enderis, a city of Milwaukee educator who embraced multi culturalism lifestyles. She was a significant contributor to the adult education and MPS recreation programs. The neighborhood is identified with Enderis Park lamp post signs and lannon stone entrance markers. One might pass by this gem of a neighborhood while traveling through Milwaukee but situated at 68th and Center are the entrance markers bearing Enderis Park on them, welcoming you in.  Winding streets, mature landscape, tudor style homes constructed of stone, brick built cape cods, dog owners happily walking their pets, parents strolling with children and joggers running in the morning dew are what you’ll see when driving through.  Many neighborhood events take place in Enderis Park, coming up is the nighttime Halloween trick or treat and home decorating contest. Homeowners get into the spirit of fall and Halloween and decked out homes are judged on most scary and most decorative. This year judging begins at dusk Friday October 29, 2010. Triangle Park also known as Squirrel Park is located on N. 72nd St between Locust and Center. Currently the association is reviewing plans to renew and revitalize the park.  Enjoy the play equipment, zero depth wading pool or sign up for baseball, kickball or tennis! You can also reserve the pavilion and play field for your event.
